KITA Institute Holds Socialization on Cross-Country (HT) Case Handling

The Socialization of Cross-Country Case Handling organized by the KITA Institute, in collaboration with Justice Without Borders (JWB), was held on Tuesday, August 27, 2019, at the Wonosobo Deputy Regent's Pendopo Hall. This activity was attended by 40 participants, each from community organizations, students, NGOs, women's groups, the media, law enforcers, and related RAOs.

The purpose of this activity was actually to increase the Wonosobo District Migrant Workers Care Network’s (JPBM) understanding and knowledge regarding the management and handling of cross-country cases, as well as strengthening the joint movement in Wonosobo in their efforts to prevent and handle cross-country cases.

The next few days after that were reserved especially for KITA Institute's staff, including the Supervisory Board, directors, management staff, and volunteers. This special staff training was held on August 28-29, 2019, at the KITA Institute office. It aimed to increase the KITA Institute staff's capacity in receiving complaints and handling cases, especially those related to cross-country cases and the establishment of an institutional internal system for case management and handling.
